DESCRIPTION
We will take you to the cave "Modric". Wonderful natural halls created thousand of years, the play of light and colours. Ideal ending of our story. Cave "Modric" has been found in eighties of the last Century and it was 2004 when it was opened for tourists for the first time. It is very rare in the World to see such large cave near the sea. This nature's geomorphologic monument will impress you with its gallery of stalactites and stalagmites. Passing through the secret labyrinth there are untouched and undiscovered jewel beneath us.

Facts:
- largest famous speleological object situated by the coastline in Croatia
- total length of unexplored channels is 829 m
- access to the cave is difficult and short, entrance and walking through less difficult
- decorated with layered calcareous forms, dripstones, columns, draperies, multiple dripstone formations and similar
- air temperature in the cave is always around 14-17°C
- relative humidity around saturation of 100%

The guide and equipment is waiting for us at the entrance to the cave. We have 2,5 hours of breathtaking adventure of the natural architecture in front of us. Our goal is to enjoy and give clear insight in delicacy of these objects in order to all preserve them better.
After visiting the cave we will have lunch and free time as agreed. (Swimming in Starigrad or departure to Zadar).
