The adventure is continued in National Park "Plitvice Lakes" founded in 1949 and among the first in the World enlisted to the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979.
The Park covers 240 km2 and by many features and scientific value it is one of the most famous reserve in Europe. The Park by itself has the range of 16 layered larger lakes and more smaller lakes. The magnificent beauty of the lakes, waterfalls, richness of the flora and fauna, walks through the forest tracks, rowing, restaurants with domestic atmosphere, as well as many other attractions invite almost one million guests per year.
