DESCRIPTION
After South Velebit our story continues in the canyon of the river Zrmanja which is in one of its parts used as the background for the well known western movie Winnetou.
River Zrmanja is considered one of the most beautiful European rivers, its crystal pure water winding through 200 m deep canyon. There are travertine waterfalls and one of them is "Veliki Buk" with its extreme beauty and 10 m height. Clear and pure warm water, grand canyons and waterfalls, many fish sorts, typical limestone phenomena of travertine barrier and its beauty will conquer your hearts.

Canoe safari
- travel begins at Kastel Zegarski
- after first hour of rowing down the rapids we will visit and swim under beautiful waterfalls of the river Krupa.
- picnic and swimming break
- we will continue rowing down Zrmanja towards Mukovci. On the way there we will meet the waterfalls and rapids.

The tour is estimated to last four hours. On the starting point you will find all the necessary canoe equipment. Each kayak has waterproof container of 25 litres capacity (for cameras, documents, dry clothes, food...) and two paddles. There are swimming waistcoats available, but good swimmers are not obligated to wear them.
